Comments: Here is the other DAT source from the Omni 92 show. All of the Omni shows from 1990 until 1996 are amazing, all probably from the same taper, but this show might have had the same taper and someone else. This show is awesome, though incomplete. This version of the show omits the Intro and Force Ten from the setlist, but what is here is pretty much complete without much dropouts or any cuts or edits in the songs. The bass and mids seem incredible here, the but the highs aren't as large, so it seems a bit more compressed sounding, whether you like your mix with more bass clarity, you might like it or not. I'm hoping to do a matrix of these sources, use the other source which has Force Ten on it, and the rest has both shows playing. A show you have to have from the tour, its awesome bass end demands that you play this sucker really loud and very forcefully.

Comments: Here is a cool show from the night before the infamous Mirrors. The performance is way better, so much better, in fact, that I wish that the soundboard guy taped this show instead of the next night. The sound here is pretty good, a little distant, but night. The mids are very harsh, but the bottom end bass mix sounds really good. The only bad thing is that sometimes Alex gets a bit lost in the mix because of the bottom end clarity, but nothing that is very overally distracting to me. There is a part after Roll the Bones and in the middle of Wheres My Thing? where its a bit distorted. Thats were the first generation VHS cassette was used, as the analog masters were missing that. Though it dosen't sound different, its a shade more muffled, but hiss free but there is some clipping and distortion in some places where it is a bit loud. Overall, a show that is pretty good for the collectors.

Comments: Here is an early scanner source from the Oakland show, right before the Mirrors soundboard, and I wish they recorded this show. There is an audience recording of this show, with better sound, but this is interesting if you like Geddy's bass. The sound isn't amazing, because Geddy's vocals are slightly muffled and the guitar and drums are virtually lost, but the bass is well refined and loud. I tried to matrix this with the audience source, and it was pretty much impossible for me. All in all, for the collectors, but not a bad show to have.

Comments: Wow, this is one of the best audience recordings that I have ever heard from this tour, but the Holland show and Charlette show might beat it in the audience category, but this is awesome. The sound is so clean and so clear that you would swear that this is a soundboard recording, as there is no distance and not too much echo for this to make it unenjoyable, and the best thing is that there is no taper talk really to be heard! The audience on a whole is pretty quiet, not loud. The venue is enough to get it, as this is the first time that they played anywhere in France. They were supposed to in 1979, but the venue burned down, so I don't really know what venue it was, but at least we have this recording. The performance is awesome too, the boys are definatly game for a little French fun, as Geddy gives a long French intro to Dreamline, it almost seems like he actually won't stop talking! Its pretty funny, but this show is a must have recording from the European leg of the Roll the Bones tour. One last note, there is a very small cut in Superconductor, nothing serious, only like a few seconds is cut, otherwise complete show without many edits or cuts to know of.

Comments: I heard that this was a good audience recording, but all of the people that told me that were wrong. This is an amazing audience recording, pretty much soundboard quality after Force Ten. There is some taper talk on Force Ten that starts at an A/A- grade, but the rest of the recording is A+ grade. The sound is incredible, pretty much soundboard, I swear. The highs and lows are excellent, and the fidelity is great. The sound is pretty warm, and the bass extension I really like. There aren't any cuts to be heard, and I don't think that there are any to be found. The only noticable cut is in Superconductor, but otherwise this is the complete show beginning to end. This show is better than Mirrors. Though the sound is better on the Mirrors soundboard, the performance is terrible. This performance is completely exellent, the boys are in a great shape tonight, so this might even be along with the best Rush audience recordings ever because it is so amazing. A show that you have to have from this tour.

Comments: Well, another decent Roll the Bones show, and, a fucking suprise, it has a bad mix. I think that this show would be much better if the mix were sharper, it were less damn distant, and there wasn't a screaming chick next to my ear (Signals De Quebec anyone?). But I think that this show, with all of its negatives, is a good show. Thes sound might not be the best, but at least you get to hear the fucking band. The performance here is excellent, Geddy is in a great mood tonight, and Alex is in a Canadian mood, eh. I think they deliver, as the performance here is very strong. Only for the completeist.

Comments: The infamous Welmbly 92 soundboard show. This one is much improved over the Run from the Fans bootleg from the same show, as this one runs faster (hence the damn title). The sound here is official quality, nothing that would be bad here with the overall sound as the mix here is perfect for a Roll the Bones tour show. The main, and the biggest problem in bootleg history, this is the most incomplete you can get. I think the soundboard guy only got the songs that he liked, because about 3/4ths of the fucking show is gone! What the hell is wrong with him, actually record the fucking show once in a while! Holy shit. What an amazing bootleg this would have been if it were the whole god damned show.

Comments: I think this is the original soundboard boot from the show. The sound here is quit amazing, but 2 main problems with the source. It runs a tad slow here, nothing terrible, and this is terribly incomplete. I think that the fucking soundboard guy was really high or drunk when he was recroding this show, he is fucking stupid for not recording the whole fucking show! Holy shit, how fucking hard can pushing a few fucking buttons be?! The performance here is pretty good, but I don't think its anything special from the tour as a whole. What a great bootleg this would have been if it were fucking complete.

Comments: This show is amazing sounding, and the performance here is great too! There are two DAT sources from this show, I don't own the other boot, yet, but when i do get it, I will compare the two in my next review. The sound here is almost soundboard quality, but I do think that the audience is a little loud between songs for it to be soundboard quality, actually. This show has amazing high end and incredible atmosphere, but the bass and mids seem to be missing the in the mix, but overall incredible. There is no distance in the sound, you can just feel that your on the stage, its really great! The performance here is pretty good too. You get such a strong performance, but I don't think that it is as good as the Charolette 92 show, but this is as fucking close as you can fucking get in performance. Overall, amazing show.

Comments: This is a great audience recording from the 1st leg of the Roll the Bones tour. The sound may not be as good as shows like Mirrors or Charlette Fever Platinum Edition, but I do think that it does sound very good in its own section. There is a tad bit of distance with the band, but nothing that would detract from the overall great sound of the show. The 2nd gen source works through "Show Don't Tell" and "The Pass" which isn't bad, but it isn't good as the master from the show. I think that the performance here is also very good, considering that it is only the first leg of the tour. They give some great renditions of "Force Ten" and "Anthem" notibly. I think that this is definatly a must have for a Roll the Bones fan, because of the great sound on this one, and a great performance to top.

Comments: While it definatly isn't as good as shows like Charlette Fever Platinum Edition, Garden Road, Vital Dreams, or Mirrors, its an okay show to have. The sound here is pretty good, some distance and compression to the midrange, but all of the instruments come in perfectly, and the distance isn't bad at all. The performance here is pretty good, they seem to be having fun tonight, as Geddy tries to speak German to the corwd. I think this could be passed on as a high gen, very high gen, soundboard. There has no hiss so to speak of, and the audience is pretty good tonight, no extra clapping or yelling. A great Roll the Bones show that will have fans listening for a long time, and much more times to come.

Comments: Though it does not sound as good as Vitals Dreams of the same show, it does win the completeness portion of the both. I think the sound here is definatly excellent, though. This sounds a little distant, but the audience is very silent, they don't even sound that loud between the songs, but you know that they are very happy to see Rush, as every Rush fan would be. The performance is the best of the tour, definatly better than Mirrors, because Mirrors has a pretty damn bad performance. The performance, as described in Vital Dreams, is increidble, with great performances of "Vital Signs" "The Analog Kid" and "The Trees" there is really nothing to actually complain about here. This boot has the completeness of the Vital Dreams show, which this one includes the encore, which is great. A must have for Rush fans.

Comments: This is a really nice, sleek, and clean recording. The band is on fire tonight, with all of the instruments on high. The bass is a little low in the mix, but it still noticable. The drums, guitar, vocals, and keyboards are all heavy in the mix. But, one very notable flaw with the recording. Some songs, like "Force Ten" sound like Audience recordings, but it dosen't sound like a very bad audience recording, if it were. In songs like "Ghost of a chance" there is some compression that you can definatly pick up if you are actually listening closely. In conclusion, I say that this is a great bootleg, and its highly recommended.

Comments: Ah, yes, the overrated Vital Dreams bootleg, in my hands, I shall review it. Well, I got to say, its actually incredible, one of the best sounds from the tour. I think this is a great recording because of the amazing performance overall, they really sounded great tonight, nothing flat. The performance is easily the best from the tour, with great versions of "Vitals Signs" and "The Analog Kid" that are absolutly to die for. Other than that, its crisp, and clean. The only main complaints that I have is that there are no encores, and the guitar is a tad low in the mix. But, this show is just too amazing not to have! I think that this could easily be passed as a official quality recording if the mix was a tad better. Highly recommended.

Comments: This is a pretty nice recording. The only real flaw is that its way to bass and drum heavy, not enough guitar. Lets keep this review short and simple, I love it, crisp sound quality, its a jem, highly recommened, is that enough for you? No, this is also a complete concert, and thats one of the best parts of this. This is also the first bootleg from the a new company, I think the name is Cygnus, and they did a great job getting this into traders hands, and its one of the best shows out there. I though the performance wans't best of tour sounding though, but still good. I really want you guys to have it.

Comments: Mirrors, in my opinion, is the second best sounding soundboard from the RtB tour by far. The guitar is nice and heavy, the bass is really shining, and the drums are absolutly delightful. But it seems that the sound really dosen't match the performance. I'll be completely honest, they sucked tonight, they were flat and uninteresting tonight. But, luckily, there are moments that are okay, but the overall performance isn't that great at all. The sound is superb for the most part, really glossy and clear sounding, but there seems to be some trouble with the performance that might turn some off of this recording. This is good, mostly for the sound though.

Comments: What the hell, this is pretty damn good. There are very many problems, but it has nice sound on it. I like the few soundchecks that this bootleg offers. The guitar is a little high, but clean sounding with no distortion effects, which is somewhat weird for a scanner source, of course it is. The bass is kind of muddy, but sounds really nice for the most part. The drums are clean, but not very noticable and very low in the mix, as this is an Alex scanner source show. One of the many problems are the few cuts in the songs that hear, and the biggest problem. There are so many static interferences in all of the songs, with the guitar. Because of the static, I can only recommend this to diehard fans of bootleging.
