Comments: Wow, for a third generation source, this sounds awesome. I would rank this up there with the known soundboard because the clarity is outstanding on this boot. There is not alot of tape hiss that I can hear, it might even be considered a second generation source because it sounds that good. The mix is awesome, the bass is well represented, the guitars and the high end are a little strong, but sound great. The drums are very well heard, and do not have any echo on it like some audience recordings. The sound is very full, and everything is very clear and there isn't much taper talk, I would definatly say that this is very close to the stage, as there is no distance. The performance is a good one. Its not as good as Milawakee performances from any tour, but I think that they give a good performance for Indiana, definatly. Geddy is pretty talkative tonight, talking about nice things. A show you need to have, its amazing.

Comments: Is Digital Dan sure this isn't a soundboard? It sounds alot like one. This is probably a little bit better than Twin Territories, the bootleg that is more complete from this same show. I think the only problems with this recording are minor ones. I'll start with the sound quality, its a good sounding show for sure. The mix is excellent, and its so clear with no annoying crowd members, so you can hear the band play very well. The bass is a little muddy sounding, but overall its well heard and not too muddy and disorganized. It has a lot of characteristics of a soundboard recording, too many. Well, its an LP, thats probably why. There is no tape hiss, but it had to cut the show. All of Geddy's talking between songs is edited out, so its very interesting to hear. A show you need to have in your Power Windows collection.

Comments: Here is an interesting boot from the Power Windows tour, and interesting is not used in a good way when I'm saying it this time. The show is very good, the performance is excellent definatly. Geddy is having fun with the crowd the whole time, and you can realy tell that the boys are in a very spirited and a very fun mood tonight, which actually makes this show very easy to listen to. The sound won't make Milawakee, Minneapolis or Philadalphia be forgotten, as this show should be. The sound isn't terrible, but its muffled and compressed and very hard to listen to. Its not distant, but it seems to the microphones are covered for some odd reason for the whole show. Everything is heard though, luckily, and you can just taste the performance because the sound is nowhere near enough distant to make it unenjoyable for the most part. A show for the appreciative.

Comments: I have the first genneration copy of this show, and if you ask me, it might be one of the better shows from the tour. The sound quality is excellent, and there is little if any tape hiss to be present. There is no distortion in any section of the concert, which is very good. This show hangs with Minneapolis and Milawakee, but dosen't beat Philadalphia in sound quality, although very close. The mix is pretty much perfect, with the band being well resloved, and all of the instruments are very audible. The performance is very good despite being very early in the tour, the boys are in a good mood. Alex has a major string break at The Trees, its pretty funny actually, and it makes the performance that much better. A show you have to have.

Comments: Its much better than the Digital Reproductions relase as it is speed corrected, apparently, the Digital Reproductions version ran about 2-3% too fast, this show corrects that and makes it a bit more listenable. The show sounds awesome, and the performance is definatly excellent, so you should get this show for sure.

Comments: The few major knocks I have on this boot is distance, incomplete, and quality. I'll start with whats good for the recording. Its a very rare bootleg, and the performance here is definatly strong. They seem to be doing pretty good, Geddy is definatly in that good mood that he always is in places like Illinois. Now, i'll end with whats bad with the recording. The audience is very loud at times, but not all too distracting in-between tracks, but they are amazingly loud and deafening when the song ends, and its unpleasent. There is a great amount of distance with the taper and stage, making for a not-to-good reception of the band. Another bad thing is that this is incomplete, missing "Spirit of Radio" and a few other songs. There are numerous amount of cuts that makes it unenjoyable at times, unfortunatly. More for the collectors or so.

Comments: The sound here alone is definatly excellent. The lack of tape hiss, the lack of annoying crowd members yelling and cheering, and the lack of bad quality makes this show a definate must-have! I think that the performance here is also a definate keeper. There is a mess-up in The Spirit of Radio when Alex breaks a string, but other than that this night is amazing. I think that the sound here is definatly amazing here too. Its a bit on the trebly side, but I think that its too clear for that to be distracting at all. The only main problem soundwise is that there are rough spots and bass distortion patches only on the harshest and the lowest of all of the bass notes, really, not distracting at all. A must-have show for everyone.

Comments: Much better than Mystic Dreams in the the complete portion and in the sound portion, even if they both sound pretty damn good, this one sounds better. Its much less stale sounding than Mysitc Dreams, and is much fuller and much more open than that source. This one is more complete, which is great, but is still missing some of the Drum Solo and the encores. I guess that is what you have to pay for a great sounding show! I think that this is a much crispier sounding source than Mystic Dreams, which adds to the overall atmosphere of the whole show. I think that the performance isn't very good on this one though. Geddy seems to forget the lyrics to "The Big Money" but it's actually not half bad. A good show that everyone should have in their collection.

Comments: This is a really great audience recording. The sound is definatly not as good as Mid-American Dreams Platinum Edition, but still, its the original recording. There are a few naughty crowd members, they like the swear, and in-between a few songs, I can't remember which one it is though, its one of the last ones though. The sound for the first 20 or so minutes is a little bit muffled, but sounds great afterward. You should get Mid-American Dreams Platinum Edition, but this isn't bad either.

Comments: This is the definitive Power Windows show. The sound is excellent, near perfection, with some naughty crowd members, but thats okay. The sound is really close to a soundboard quality, that, if I didn't know already, I would think that this is a soundboard. Great dynamics, and incredible overall sound. There is no tape hiss because this is 1st generation, but I don't think that masters have been recovered yet. The performance here is very strong, with the best rendition of "Middletown Dreams" there is on any bootleg around in the Power Windows era, ever. A must have for fans of this era.

Comments: This is a really cool find. All of the Power Windows songs are on it, but none (Besides The Big Money) were like the original versions, because The Big Money was already released as a single already, back then. The sound is really loud, to say the least, which definatly isn't always a really bad thing. There is little distortion to be heard, but this is a really enjoyable listen, and if you listen closly, you can hear the differences within the songs. A recommended little studio outtake, but its definatly a really cool find for all of the collectors who are wondering what was it like before the official release? That question has been answered, well, at least for this album.

Comments: Mystic Dreams is pretty nice, the sound is full, and loud. I really like the upfront bass guitar, but, unfortunatly, you can't hear Alex that well in the mix for most of the whole show, but sometimes he is very good sounding. The keyboards sound pretty good. This isn't the best version of the show, that has to go to the Visuals and Illusions Version 2.01 in the sound. The overall sound on this bootleg is very stale, but nothing to serious. The peformance is pretty good here as well, which makes this a good boot. This is also incomplete, missing the encore and a few more songs. I think this is only for the collectors, really.
