Medley: Overture/La Villa Strangiato/In The Mood/Wipeout/Jazz Bass 11.29

Comments: Here is one of the last known shows from the Presto tour, and it does sound very good what is here. The performance is great, with only Geddy and his voice seeming a little out of place at times, but he dosen't sound too bad. Alex's guitar playing is definatly excellent tonight, and Neil hits those drums as hard as he can. The mix is wonderful for a Presto show, how lucky are we? There is some tape hiss and some minor distortion that keeps this from being an high than it is. A good show, it will make its way into your collection one time or another.

In The Mood / Wipeout 3:27

Comments: Another exceptional show from the later half of the Presto tour. The sound quality here is definatly excellent, and for a change, the mix is actually very good here! The guitar sounds good, and in the perfect spot in the mix. Geddy is very upfront, with his vocals and the bass seems the be well positioned in the mix. Neil is in good, he is very well heard in his "Rhythm Method" which is my vote for my favorite Neil performance of the solo, he is very good here. I think that the performance overall here is very good, nothing that would make this a bad performance. A show that is a must-have for anyone.

2112: Overture 3:16
La Villa Strangiato 4:43
In The Mood 2:08
Pipeline / Jazz Bass 0:45

Comments: Another good Presto show. The mix is decent, but definatly not the worst of the Presto mixes, as I have seen much worse. The guitar seems to be okay, but the recording seems to be a little distant itself, with decent resolution and good instrument seperation. The performance here is pretty good though. They give nice performances of everything really tonight, nothing to complain about with the overall performance. I think that this would be graded higher if it were less distant sounding, but I guess nothing is absolutly perfect with any recording, obviously. A good Presto show, but more for the collector.

La Villa Strangiato 4:54
In The Mood 3:01

Comments: At times, this is one of the best audience sources from the whole tour. When the mic gets blocked, it degrades the overall quality, and it makes it only a decent show. The good parts have devastatingly harsh highs, but amazing lows and mids that make this sound really good. The drums tonight sound really good, so its much like Hartford 90 as in the drums sounding very nice and things like that. The audience is loud, but they aren't loud enough to make this a bad boot. The bass seems to come in fine in the mix, as the vocals and keys do as well. The guitar is a tad low in the mix, but I don't think that you have to strugle to hear it like some other boots from this tour have that problem. The performance here is good, but since its early in the tour, they don't sound perfect yet. The definatly don't make that may flubs or problems in the performance, so its good just for that. A great show for all of the Presto fans.

2112: Overture 3:22
La Villa Strangiato 4:51
In The Mood 2:20

Comments: This is definatly an excellent find. The sound here is great, with only a little distnace keeping this from being an aboslut must-have recording. There is a good amount of overall dynamics, and the bass comes in through fairly clear. The guitar is the low-man in the mix, as you sometimes have to struggle to hear him, but he comes off well in his intense solos, which makes it great. The drums sound pretty nice on this recording, but Geddy sounds the best on this show. The performance here is pretty good, behind the Omni show and the Hartford show, as this is definatly a great performance. A must have for Rush fans.

Comments: One of the better Presto shows that I have heard. Geddy seems to be in a good mood in Canada, which is really nice. The performance here is good, they seem to be having alot of fun tonight, as Geddy is very talkative to the crowd. Alex is also having a bit of fun, he is playing impressivly. The sound here is great too. Everything comes in fine, but the mix, like most Presto shows, is terrible. Geddy sounds good, but the guitar is very low. The drums sound good, but the guitar is one of those things that gets you pissed that you can't hear. A good show, a must have for the Presto lovers.

Comments: A complete rip-off of Digital Reproductions version of Hartford 90, right down to the miliseconds on the recording. Man, this recording is so good, but Gypsy Eye (the company that made this recording) should definatly root in hell after making this release.

Comments: The sound quality here is definatly what shines. There is little distance, as this recorded on the 4th row with a sony product, but the source catches alot of reverb. The overall sonics sound great, with great high end but the low end and mid seem to be a tad compressed, but definatly nothing that would make this a bad recording. The auidence is very well behaved around the taper, so there is definatly not alot of crowd noise as you can hear. The performance here is damn good too. Its much better than the 4-02-90 show, which was a few weeks ago, as they seem to be much tighter and much more polished. This has my favorite version of "The Spirit of Radio" on it as well. This has to make it into your collection on one time or another if you do love the Presto tour as much as some do.

Comments: I think that this release would be a hell of alot better if the source wasn't running a touch slow. The sound quality is definatly excellent, with no distance at all, and no reverb to speak of. I do think that this might be a high generation source as there is a little tape hiss here and there, but nothing that would detract from the overall sound. The performance is pretty good, not incredible, but better than the 4-02-90 show. The bass sounds incredible on this source, which is definatly a reason to get it. The performance also has my all-time favorite version of "Scars" the play the song with so much passion tonight, and I definatly think it is the best song that was played tonight. I think that the slow speeds aren't as distracting as the 4-02-90 show, but its still very noticable. This is definatly an enjoyable recording, a must have for all of the Presto lovers out there.

Comments: A decent Presto show, the first of the tour actually. The performance isn't too bad, they seem to be doing good tonight with some flubs, but what do you expect from the first show of the whole tour? There is only one cut, its the beginning of "Scars" but it isn't too bad at all. The show has its extremely great moments. When it has its great moments, it sounds really nice and bright and full, what a great audience recording shoul sound like. Other times the mic is dull and the mix is very flat, begin better and worse than graded. A great show, a must have for those Presto lovers out there.

Comments: While the performance may be good, the sound here definatly is the worst from the tour possibly. The sound is extremely distant, muffled, and very compressed to the midrange of everything. The muffling is so bad at times, it makes for a very unenjoyable experience at times, so I can't really recommend this to people who really wish for good sound on a Presto show. But, the instruments can be heard well, and Geddy seems to shine tonight. As I have said, the performance is good. This is only for the hardcore Presto show lovers, and the hard collectors.

Comments: The sound here is great, and so is the performance, making a great bootleg. The sound can be a little distant at times, namly the beginning, but the sound after about "Force Ten" , or so, the sound is definatly a lot better than most audience shows that I have heard. The performance is excellent, because they are in Canada, you know that they are going to give it their best when they are in their home. The taper may have been a little bit in the middle of everything, because there isn't too much distance, but the crowd is pretty loud in the beginning and the end of the songs, but its not distracting at all. A great show from a great tour.

Comments: I'm a little split on this boot. The sound starts off very slow, then at "Freewill" it gets to the correct speed, but then it starts to slow alot during the concert, and the performance is laking. The sound, I don't think I mentioned it, is really a great sounding little show, but not even close to becoming a best of the tour show. There seems to be a little distance, but I think that it sounds pretty good, but the performance really isn't my favorite. Its not that they messed up a lot, its just the fact that they seem to be a little flat tonight, nothing really special coming on, that what I think that they were think while they were performance the show. There is no distortion in the recording which is great, but I think that you can skip this recording, even though its really not all that bad. There are much better performances and much better sounding shows than this show here.

Comments: This is definatly one of the best from the tour, up there with Scars of Pleasure, and the Hartford show. This is much better than the unremastered version of the show, this almost sounds like a soundboard, as does Scars of Pleasure, and the Hartford show really is one! I really like the fact that the sound is so crisp, and there is bearly any audience noise in the songs, and the scream and yell all they want at the beginning and the end of the songs, and it really sounds fantastic. This is also a complete source, which makes it even better. This is a great show that you really need in you collection.

Comments: Am I listening to an audience source or a soundboard recording? This thing is really that good, it sounds near perfection. The only problem is that the bass can get a little overwhelming in some songs, but its not that bad. The performance is great, as with most of the Wisconsin dates. Geddy sounds really nice on this recording, and the performance is caught near perfection with the audience taper. This is one of those must have recordings, you have to have it, much like Hartford 90 and Target Mass Appeal Platinum Edition. I want everyone to have this, if you don't have it right now, you need to get your hands on it!

Comments: I would think that the platinum edition of this is much better, unfortunatly, I don't have that version at this moment(now I do, check the above reviews). This version is very odd at the beginning, very rough around the edges, but gets pretty good over the course of about 10-20 minutes. The beginning is very compressed, and the audience is very loud, but it gets pretty good over a few minutes, and its easily much better then Second Edition bootleg below. This one is really only for collectors, in my eyes.

Comments: This is definatly the best show from the whole tour. I think that the only thing that detracts from the overall show is a few missing seconds of "Force Ten" but otherwise this is a complete show without any other song cuts. The performance here is definatly pretty good, but there are better. They do give a very passionate version of "Red Barchetta" tonight, so that track gets alot of plays on my ipod or my CD player. I think that sound quality here is definatly excellent. Its better than the only Presto DVD that I have, its not flat or boring sounding like some soundboard recordings. The bass is pretty well represented in the mix, with the drums sounding incredible tonight. This is definatly one of the Neil mixes, as he is captured near perfection on this one. The guitar sounds okay on this one, but like many Presto shows, the mix isn't perfect, so I can't give it a perfect score. An excellent board, a must have for Presto fans.

Comments: This is a decent sounding show. The sound is a little more distant than some of the other shows from the tour, but it still is heard just fine, and the mix is great unlike many other Presto shows that I have found so far. A bonus of this show is that is has a Radio Promo's at the beginning of the bootleg. This definatly dosen't capture the concert like the Hartford show does, and the mix could be a lot better on this one,(with Geddy being the least prominate in the mix) but I still manage to give it a B because the performance was actually pretty good, and the sound wasn't all that bad, actually. Another bonus to this is that there are soundcheck songs at the end of this boot, which is very valuable to those really desperate collectors. The soundchecks sound near dreadful, but definatly still listenable. I only recommend this to diehard fans.
